Vision of the 290 PRC

---

• 290 PRC is an advocacy group to promote a passenger rail project along the Highway 290 corridor on the Union Pacific railroad tracks
  
  
• 290 PRC will identify and maintain communications with all stakeholders, including governmental entities and developers and citizens groups, along the proposed passenger rail route
  
  
• 290 PRC will work with stakeholders to ascertain a realistic proposal for passenger rail along the proposed passenger rail route
  
  
• 290 PRC will perform a planning function for said passenger rail route, using the expertise of all resources available within the appropriate communities
  
  
• 290 PRC will identify funding sources for the proposed project and will lobby for resources from appropriate entities and groups
  
  
• 290 PRC will maintain an information database for all stakeholders and serve as a spokesperson to the media and other appropriate outlets for said stakeholders
